Hello everyone!

Just a quick update to announce a native Linux build for Distant Paradise!

The game was of course already playable if you were using the Steam client or Lutris or directly Wine/Proton, but none of that is required anymore. This new version of the game is made for Linux, no compatibility layer or emulation needed!

It should work with most if not all distributions meant for the desktop. I've successfully tested it on both Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS and SteamOS.

Launching it is pretty easy: all you have to do is allow the "DistantParadise" file to be executed and then double-click on it and voilà! No AppImage or Flatpak required, all dependences should already be included.

Let me now if you encounter any issues, but fair warning: I'm no Linux expert and I can't possibly offer support for all the possible distributions. But hopefully it will just work for everybody ;)
