A downloadable game for Windows

Lost Paradise is a free post-apocalyptic action-adventure platformer.

You've slept through the end of the world.

The last thing you remember is the kidnapping.

As you wake up from cryosleep, you find yourself in a bunker, seemingly the last human on earth.

A note from your captor encourages you to seek the tower, where you will find your answers.

Now you're on your own.

Explore this desolate world ruled by machines as strange as they are deadly.

Find new abilities to carve your own path through obstacles and reveal secret passageways.

Learn what happened to you and to the world as you seek salvation at the top of the tower.

If there's any hope left for mankind, it's you.

I'm a simple man - I see a new game by Dri, I click the like button :))

I really enjoyed this one too, felt like a mixture between The Trespasser and Silent Paradise, it was fantastic. The ability to switch between detailed and squared maps is a great addition and the charm system is one of my favorite mechanics to customize the game to your preferred playstyle.

I found only two bugs during my playthrough:

First, in the control rebinding menu you cannot bind an action to the B button (since B goes back to the previous menu). So if you click X on the action, it tells you to press a button to bind, but when you press B, it goes back to the previous screen.

Also on that topic, there's no way to change the map toggle button - at one point I somehow bound both the change pin and map toggle actions to the same button (Y) so I couldn't really change the pin colors anymore; I had to revert the controls back to the default ones.

The other bug I found is in the charm system - you cannot unequip the first two talismans (the magnet and the extra heart). You can unequip the other ones but these two are stuck with you for the rest of the game if you equip them just once.

With that said, neither of these bugs prevented me from enjoying the hell out of this game, just like I did with your previous MV entries. Good luck with the game jam and thank you again for making these! <3

I am still unsure if I like the control scheme.
I jsut keep pressing the wrong buttons every now and then by accident.

You can rebind all controls in the settings menu. Based on another of your comments, it seems you're using the keyboard; I highly recommend using a gamepad if possible.

I'm sure it's a false positive, but Windows Defender isn't letting me download it because it says it has the following: Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!ml  Other people might be having the same problem.  Can't wait to play it!

It's strange, I haven't seen Windows Defender trip on it on any of the other computers I tried it on. Is your Windows Defender up to date? The "ml" at the end stands for "machine learning" (meaning AI detection) which is a nest of false positives, but they usually fix it pretty quickly. Anyway, the game doesn't do anything my other games don't. I hope you will be able to enjoy it soon! ;)

Knowing that's machine learning version of "found" made me feel better thanks!  Loving it so far! Btw, is the Vengeful Talisman not supposed to be removable or is that a bug?  (I can't remove the Vengeful Talislam, but other talismans don't seem to have that issue)

There is indeed a bug, thanks for reporting it. It's not exclusive to the Vengeful Talisman: if you equip a talisman, save and reload, you can't unequip it afterward.

Problem is: I can't submit bugfixes during the jam's voting period. But in the meantime, if it really hinders your progression, I can upload the patched version on Google Drive.

Oh no, I'm good thanks! I was able to beat it without swapping it out!  Now I just have to go back through and find the one terminal note I'm missing :)
